Zone
All students who live
within the home zone described below* (and/or shown on the attached
map) shall be entitled to enroll at the school.
SH1 from Duncan Road to Tauwhare Road. Along Tauwhare Road from SH1 to Lee Martin Road, up
to and including #321 Tauwhare
Road. Along Lee Martin Road to Bruntwood Road. Take a direct line from
the Lee Martin Road/Bruntwood Road
intersection to the Pickering
Road/Discombe Road intersection, then along Pickering Road to
SH1. The home zone also includes the area between the Mangaharakeke Stream and
SH 1, with the stream’s boundary commencing from the Lee Martin Road/Tauwhare
Road intersection, taking a line to the stream’s closest point, then following
the stream to where it meets SH 1.
From the SH 1/Tauwhare Road intersection
along SH 1 to Newell Road,
up to and including #401A
Cambridge Road and including all of Annebrook and Cedar Park
Roads. Along Newell Road
(including sideroads) to Airport
Road. Airport Road from SH 1 to the intersection
of Raynes Road, then along Raynes Road, including all of Lowe Road, to the
intersection of Middle Road, including #139 Raynes Road. Along Middle Road (all
Middle Road included), to Narrows Road, then left along Narrows Road to Raynes
Road and back to the Raynes Road/Airport
Road intersection. Turn right into Airport
Road to Mystery
Creek Road intersection, including #153 Airport Road.
Along Mystery Creek Road to Angus Road intersection, then along Angus Road. Take a
direct line from the end of Angus
Road across the river to Pencarrow Road, then along Pencarrow Road to
the intersection of Pencarrow and Hooker Roads. Along Hooker Road (all Hooker Road included). From the
intersection of Hooker and Duncan
Roads, along Duncan Road
to SH 1.
Note:
The home zone includes all roads and rights of way within the described area
and both sides of roads unless otherwise stated.
Proof of residence
within the home zone will be required e.g. – a rates demand, phone account, or
electricity account.
Each year,
applications for enrolment in the following year from in-zone students will be
sought by a date which will be published in a daily or community newspaper
circulating in the area served by the school. This will enable the board to
assess the number of places which can be made available to students who live
outside the home zone.
