Pyjama Day - Tuesday 25th June

posted Jun 6, 2019, 8:00 PM by Reception @TMCS

With temperatures dropping and winter heading our way we all love to wrap up warm and be cosy by the fire reading a book or watching a favourite family movie together. There are many families in NZ who are unable to provide warm clothes for their children and need our help.

Family Start is an organisation in Dinsdale that works with families in need and loves to help the whole family. At this time of year, part of how they can practically help is by giving excellent condition pre-loved winter clothes to children in need. They are asking for WINTER PYJAMAS at the moment and other WARM WINTER CLOTHES ranging from newborn to 11 year olds.

Tamahere community is always very generous and we'd love to share what we have with those in need.

Tuesday 25th June is going to be a Pyjama Day at school. Roll out of bed with your 'bed hair' and come to school in your pj's or onesie, wrap yourself up in your dressing gown and slippers ready for your learning at school.

Any donations we receive will be put towards purchasing PJs and we will be collecting pre-loved or new winter pj's or warm winter clothes in excellent condition that you've grown out of.

So please start having a look through your cupboards as a family and see what you can bring in to give away. A HUGE thank you in advance for your generous donations.
