Dad’s Army - Firewood Working Bee - Saturday 14th September starting at 8:00 am

posted Sep 5, 2019, 7:06 PM by Reception @TMCS

Dad's Army is an informal group open to any parent with a child at TMCS. The group meet for social events and also support the caretaking staff by coming together at the school on occasional weekends to lend a helping hand with particular projects. There will generally be one working bee and one social event each term. There's now a Facebook Group which you can find here. Unless you have been pre-approved, you will need to request to join as I will need to authorise you because it's a closed group.

We are holding a social event from 6:00pm this Friday the 6th of September, at the Good Union in Cambridge. Very informal and everyone is welcome.

Following the removal of a number of trees at the school, Dad’s Army will be doing a working bee to cut the rounds into firewood. The working bee is on Saturday the 14th of September from 8:00 am, wet or fine.  All dads are welcome and it would be great to see a few new faces! If anyone has a log splitter please let Mike Calvert know as soon as possible by emailing Please bring vehicles through the TCC carpark (rear of TCC) and across the fields to our compound adjacent to the shops. Thank you for your support!
