Dad’s Army - Firewood Working Bee - Saturday 14th September starting at 8:00 am

Dad's Army is an informal group open to any parent with a child at TMCS. The group meet for social events and also support the caretaking staff by coming together at the school on occasional weekends to lend a helping hand with particular projects. There will generally be one working bee and one social event each term. There's now a Facebook Group which you can find here. Unless you have been pre-approved, you will need to request to join as I will need to authorise you because it's a closed group.

We are holding a social event from 6:00pm this Friday the 6th of September, at the Good Union in Cambridge. Very informal and everyone is welcome.

Following the removal of a number of trees at the school, Dad’s Army will be doing a working bee to cut the rounds into firewood. The working bee is on Saturday the 14th of September from 8:00 am, wet or fine.  All dads are welcome and it would be great to see a few new faces! If anyone has a log splitter please let Mike Calvert know as soon as possible by emailing calvert.mike@virgin.net. Please bring vehicles through the TCC carpark (rear of TCC) and across the fields to our compound adjacent to the shops. Thank you for your support!
