We want our school families and community to have the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful facility over the summer holidays and weekends. We also want everyone to realise that the way we operate this facility will have to be different from our old family pool key system where holders could walk in and swim at anytime.

We need to comply with health and safety regulations and best practice guidelines for water quality and pool supervision and safety. Our pool complex is in effect thanks to the generous sponsorship we have been gifted by so many businesses - a $600,000 facility with sophisticated and expensive technology!

Compared to our old pool, the level of risk to mitigate has increased exponentially, thanks to having a much larger body of water, two pools, no climb over walls and a 1.6 metre deep end. All these features have been developed to improve the swimming opportunities for our students, however open access for community key holders is more problematic.
