Tamahere School Students are Invited to the Mad Hatters’ Parade!

Our school has the privilege of being involved in the “Artists In The Park” fundraiser for Save the Children’s projects.

What:           Artists in the Park & Mad Hatters Parade

When:         Saturday & Sunday 7th – 8th November

Mad Hatters Parade Sunday 8th November 2pm

Time:            10am – 5pm

Where:         The Sculpture Park, 207 Scotsman Valley Road, Tauwhare

Our students can become some of the artists participating in the fundraiser by making a Mad Hat, inspired by one of the more than 120 countries supported by Save the Children worldwide.  Their wonderful hat creations are shared at the Mad Hatter’s parade on the Sunday afternoon at 2pm.  Hats are then displayed at the Hamilton East Save the Children shop.

Every child participating will receive free entry to Artists in the Park as well as one for their accompanying adult.  If your family are going to join in the fun at “Artists in the Park” by creating a Mad Hat at home and joining in the parade at The Sculpture Park, please let the school office know by 3pm Friday 30th October (along with the name of the country their Mad Hat represents) for reservation of your free tickets!*
