Ag Day This Friday - Parking Instructions & Other Information

posted Oct 16, 2017, 7:32 PM by Reception @TMCS

Our much anticipated annual Ag Day is this Friday 20th October!  This is a very special day for our school and a wonderful opportunity for children to showcase their much loved pets who they have carefully nurtured over the past few months.  For those children who will not be bringing an animal, they will be joining in with a fantastic array of horticultural activities.  Please follow this link to our notice detailing the programme for the day.  This year, Ag Day will be held on the field behind the TCC, this is due to recent  sowing of seed on our school field.

Important Ag Day Information:

  • Due to our limited field area, we will have significant parking constraints on Ag Day.

The car park at the rear of the TCC will be a loading zone for drop off and pick up of calves.  This is not a permanent car park for the day.  Lambs and kids can also be dropped off here if necessary, but please note this will be a busy zone and if you are able to park and lead your lamb/kid in from elsewhere this would be preferable.

  • If you are able to bake some cookies and slices for our cake stall, these would be gratefully received.  Funds raised will be used to support the ongoing efforts of Ag Day.  Please deliver your baking to the allocated Cake Stall table on the morning of Ag Day.

  • Ag Day Raffle: First Credit Union have kindly donated a $500 cash prize raffle! Tickets can be purchased on Ag Day at a cost of $5 each or 3 for $10 (there are also 2 consolation prizes).  Thanks First Credit Union for your generous support.

  • Our hardworking Ag Day team will be setting up on Thursday morning (after school drop off) and would be extremely grateful to receive as much help as is on offer.  Please turn up on Thursday morning if you can lend a helping hand.
