Ag Day Fun!

What an amazing Ag Day we enjoyed this year!  We were fortunate enough to enjoy perfect weather, an overcast day with a breeze to keep the pets nice and cool.  It was wonderful to see the special bond the children had developed with their animals which was so evident on the day.  Creativity was flowing in the Horticultural Happenings classrooms, thank you to the many parents who assisted in this area and out on the field and with the caged pets.

A special thanks to Lisa Ogilvy and Sarah Wilkinson-Hart for their tireless effort.  Their incredible organisational skills helped make the day a huge success.  We have greatly appreciated all you have contributed over the last few years and especially acknowledge this as you step down from your respective roles. Thank you  to Tracy Mellis, Pip Smith and Sharon Roulston for stepping up to this role for Ag Day 2016.

We would also like to extend grateful thanks to Julia May and Steph Gardiner for their amazing ability to coordinate Ag Day within the school, all our staff and students appreciate the behind-the-scenes work you have done to create such a successful day.  Thank you very much to Neelam Brown and Sue Duoba for organising a beautiful morning tea and lunch for our judges, and to the judges themselves for giving their time and expertise to help us on the day.  To all the parents, friends and family who have supported this event, we sincerely thank you all - the day wouldn’t be what it is without you!

Well done to the team of students who represented our school at Group Day - it was a wonderful day on all accounts and a perfect opportunity for students to show their animals once again.

We hope you enjoy the photos below:
