AG Day Friday 19th October - Update

posted Jul 5, 2018, 6:38 PM by Reception @TMCS
Due to Mycoplasma Bovis (MB) disease we are unable to have calves this year...but we are still having the following animal categories:

Lambs (Born after July 1st)
Goats (Born after July 1st)

Keep an eye on the school notices for availability of both lambs and goats, if anyone is requiring an Ag Day animal. It would also be very helpful if there are any breeders or contacts you may have that would be willing to offer lambs or kids. Please contact Sharon or Tracy on the numbers below.

There will also be the Caged Pets category this year - eg. rabbits, mice, rats, turtles, guinea pigs.

Smaller animals are welcome to attend Ag Day as long as they are on leads eg pigs. BUT...for larger animals eg. alpaca, donkeys, ponies you will be required to contact Sharon to discuss further. NO horses, cats or dogs please.

We are working on an exciting new category to add this year...Chicks To Chickens. More information available in the 1st week of Term 3.

Entry forms will be available at the office in Term 3.

If you're interested in joining the three of us - Tracy, Sharon, Pip - to help organise, set up and plan Ag Day for 2018 and onwards, please come for a coffee at The Punnet 27th July @ 8.45am.
