Swimming Sports Success

posted Feb 22, 2016, 4:17 PM by Reception @TMCS
Another fantastic event was held on Monday at St Peters school. The weather played ball and the children enjoyed being in the water.

We had the races out in the open and inside we had many more children in the pool competing in a range of activities. Highlights of the day include watching some of our fast swimmers, including Savanna B who just raced at Nationals in Auckland on the weekend. The whanau relays and class relays were also a big highlight.

We are lucky to be able to use this amazing facility for free. A huge thank you to Angela Bourke for her passion and expertise in enabling this event to go ahead and to all the many other parents who helped out throughout the day, as well as a past student Matthew Forward. It was great to have so many hands, which are required in sports events. Certificates will be handed out at School Assembly this Friday. You’ll find any lost property in our lost property shed.
