Pink Shirt Day - Friday 18th May

posted May 8, 2018, 3:05 PM by Reception @TMCS

Staff and students are all invited to dress in pink on Friday 18th May for a gold coin donation in support of the Mental Health Foundation's Pink Shirt Day.

Pink Shirt Day is a day where New Zealand celebrates diversity and where everyone feels safe, valued and respected at work, school or in their community. Sadly, New Zealand has some of the highest rates of bullying in the world. People who are bullied are more likely to experience mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety and even suicidal thoughts.

Money raised through Pink Shirt Day goes directly into growing the Pink Shirt Day movement.  Thank you for your support.
