Support Conservation Week next week by taking part in some of the activities below:

  • Whio colouring competition; get an entry form from your class teacher or Mrs Dunton and return it to the school office (a box inside the children’s entrance) by Wednesday 14th September.  They get sent away to the Department of Conservation to be judged.

  • Nude food lunchbox challenge next Friday 18th September.  Can you pack yourself a litterless lunchbox next Friday the 16th September?  Duty teachers will be on the lookout for students who can pack a litterless lunchbox and will be giving out whanau points.  Think creatively and use plastic containers, paper to wrap sandwiches that is then composted or compartment style lunch boxes that require no food to be wrapped.

  • Our Eco Warriors will be collecting rubbish along Tamihana Drive in one of their lunch breaks next week to do our bit towards keeping our local community litter free.
