Do you want Ultra-Fast Broadband for your property in Tamahere or Matangi?

posted May 12, 2016, 8:27 PM by Reception @TMCS

Waikato District Council wish to advise the following to our school families:

You may have experienced issues with your internet connectivity and speed. We have a one-off opportunity to provide Ultra-Fast Broadband (UFB) to the Tamahere and Matangi area which should increase download speeds, remove the current cap on capacity and dramatically improve reliability.

Fibre-optic providers have indicated it is highly unlikely fibre-optic cabling for UFB will be laid in your area without a significant commercial investment, and strong support from the community in the form of a financial contribution from customers. We want to ascertain whether you would support such an approach.

We have posted surveys to 1,400 properties in Tamahere and Matangi. Please complete and return your survey to the Waikato District Council by 20 May 2016

If you do not have one you can fill in the survey online at www.waikatodistrict.govt.nz/sayit  or email consult@waidc.govt.nz  for a copy of the survey. All surveys must be received by 20 May 2016.

For further information please contact Waikato District Council on 0800 492 452.
